options tab settings
The
license tab provides functionality to manage application license keys. At
initial load, the license key value defaults to “Enter License Key”.
Inserting a key text string (available from the Logictran web site) and clicking
the “Activate” key will initiate the license key validation
process. A message box will inform you of the success or failure of the
validation. If the validation is successful, the “Convert” button
will become active and focus will switch from the License tab to the General
tab. If license validation fails, focus will remain on the License tab and the
“Convert” button will remain inactive.
After a
license key has been accepted, it may be changed at a later date. e.g. changing
from a demo key to a permanent key. If for some reason a key change fails, you
have the option to cancel the change action and revert back to the current
validated
key.
For your
convenience, two buttons on the License tab provide a direct link to the
Logictran Corporate web site. As mentioned in the Getting Started section, you
can obtain either a demo license key or the purchase a permanent
key.
