Advanced
options tab settings
Advanced
options deal with more refined tuning of the output file content and format as
follows:
1.3.1 Index
If
the Index box is checked, a separate index file will be generated in the output
directory, if an index is detected in the input file.
*Index set
to include is the
installed default.
- If
the Navigation Links setting is “Off”, a separate index file will be
generated but there will not be any links to it from the other output HTML
files.
1.3.2 Copy
Linked Images
The
application will copy any linked images, referenced in the input document, to
the output folder specified for embedded images.
*Copy
linked images set to on
is the installed
default.
- Linked
images do not include images referenced by hyperlink. Hyperlinked image
references will be converted as hyperlinks which may or may not point to a file
that is accessible by the output HTML
file.
1.3.3 Navigation
Links
Navigation
Links refers to button controls and hierarchical links that provide for
navigation to other pages (files) when file splitting is used. These links are
pre-pended to the top of each HTML output page. The selectable values for
Navigation Links are Auto, On, and Off.
*Auto
is the installed
default.
In
Auto mode, the application decides when navigation links are applicable or
desirable and generates them. On and Off settings let the user have explicit
control over the inclusion or exclusion of navigation
links.
Navigation
links can be either text based or graphic based with alt text. Links to graphic
navigation button images will only be generated if a Navigation Links URL is
specified.
1.3.4 Navigation
Links URL
Any
valid URL, including UNC file names (e.g. //server/share/ or
./) is valid input
for this field and, if specified, any navigation links will include image src
pointers to navigation image files located at the specified URL. Image files
required by the application, that must be accessible at the URL specified,
are:
contents.gif
first.gif
next.gif
previous.gif
index.gif
- The
Nav images URL must include the trailing file separator appropriate for the type
of URL specified ( \ or / )
1.3.5 HTML
Format
Two
options are available for the HTML output format; HTML Basic (HTML 3.2) and
HTML Standard (CSS, XHTML)
*HTML
Standard is the
installed default.
